We have been in business 40 years and I’ve been running the commercial lawn maintenance part of the company and my pops runs the irrigation/landscaping part of our business. It works out well for us and we make a decent living but for 20 plus year my parents had a nursery and retail operation. In the early 2000s when I was a cop they were at their peak and had a HUGE commercial retail store where my mom sold every kind of plant, flower, shrub, and tree you can think of. She also created holiday wood yard decorations and she also sold pottery and other lawn decor along with other porch furniture and decor. They sold the property years ago and used the profits to buy their dream home and do some updates to the Victorian style home they bought. Now we are mainly large scale commercial business oriented but I do have a few rather large residential properties that are friends of the family that I maintain but they are several acres so it’s not like dealing with home owners or HOA that are anal retentive about every little blade of grass lol although I do sub contract for the city and we take care of city hall and a few other fairly important city buildings that have be perfect. Anyways man great video and great tips/advice. Skål 🍻

Hey Dan, I got a question. Would I be able to use a 2 gallon pump up sprayer? And how would I dilute the chemical if I am trying to pressure wash concrete patio, driveway, and steps?

Since supplies are pricey what's the lowest you should charge?

Okay, maybe I'm dense, but I have a couple of questions. So the formula is 1 part 10% pool essentials, 7 parts water, and the amount of Dawn to add is one ounce to what?? Is that an ounce per gallon, or per 8 gallons? I think it's 1 ounce per gallon of mix, but I'm not sure. *EDIT* Okay, watched other video on this formula, and you said 1oz of dawn per gallon (sorry). Another question I have. I have a PS3228 Simpson 3300 PSI unit on its way to me. Looking through the manual in the chapter about using chemicals (with the siphon), it specifically says to *"NEVER use bleach".* So is it just their hose and/or spray gun that can't handle bleach? From the pictures of it that I've looked at, the siphon is on the output side of the pump, so it shouldn't affect the pump at all. *EDIT* Otherwise, is there a "foam cannon" (or something) with the right siphon ratio I could use after the spray gun that would let me run it at a much higher concentration, as the "soap" container is probably only a quart? Thanks for the money saving tips.

There's a simpler way. Adjust your front wheels as high as they will go & adjust the back wheels where you actually want them.The mower will double cut in one pass. I do this all the time when the grass gets too high & keeps your mower from bogging/dying.
